Having done her schooling in Ireland, she went to Castleroy College and later pursued her higher studies at the Limerick Institute of Technology as a marketing and management student. Sophie began her professional career as a product consultant for a multinational firm. She later joined Northern Trust Corporation in Abu Dhabi and served the company as a vice president until March 2025. Sophie then explored the world of sports philanthropy, taking up the role of Chief Operating Officer for Dhawan’s conglomerate, Da One Sports. As Dhawan’s trusted partner, Sophie also heads the Shikhar Dhawan Foundation and plays an instrumental role in ensuring the charity organisation carries out its philanthropic initiatives successfully. Dhawan’s cricket career The 40-year-old made his India debut in 2010, and played for the national team till 2022. A decorated international cricketer, Shikhar Dhawan, scored over 6700 runs in ODI cricket. He was pivotal in India’s Champions Trophy winning heroics in 2013 and won the Man of the Tournament award. In 2017, he was again the leading run scorer as India lost the Champions Trophy final to Pakistan.
