3-year-old girl kidnapped raped in Bina:Accused took survivor in front of minor brother; left her stranded in fields after assault

Police in Bina have arrested a 28-year-old man for raping a three-year-old girl in Khimlasa. The child is admitted in critical condition in hospital after the brutal attack on Sunday evening. Her seven-year-old brother’s alert saved her life. The girl was playing near her home with her brother. They walked 300 metres to a field to eat peas. A neighbourhood youth arrived there. Assailant strikes The 28-year-old man took the girl away. He raped her in the field. The brother returned home alone. The boy told his mother a young villager took his sister. The family panicked. They searched everywhere. Victim found, rushed to care Searchers found the girl behind a boring machine in the village. She lay in serious condition. The family called Khimlasa police station. Officers took the girl to Khurai Civil Hospital for medical tests. They arrested the accused youth. SI Pratima Mishra leads the probe. Case registered Police filed charges under rape sections and the POCSO Act. The investigation continues.
