Ujjain continues to witness a surge in vehicle thefts. On Thursday evening, two criminals stole a Royal Enfield Bullet motorcycle in broad daylight, managing to flee in just 25 seconds. Mohit Meher, a resident of Narayanpura, had parked his Bullet (MP 13 EN 2853) outside Pawanputra gym in Ved Nagar at around 8 PM before heading upstairs. CCTV footage shows two men on a bike approach the parked vehicle. They first broke the Bullet’s lock using their foot and then left, apparently conducting reconnaissance. Shortly after, one of them returned, lifted the Bullet using its stand, and ran away with it. Mohit Meher has filed a complaint at the Nanakheda Police Station, and authorities are reviewing CCTV footage to track the suspects.
