Scindia inaugurates train stoppages at Myana–Pagra:Reacts to Mamata’s protest over ED raids; says Centre committed to public service

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Thursday reacted to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s protest after the ED raid. Speaking in Guna, he said India is a democracy and everyone has the right to act in their own way. Scindia said the central government is working on the path of public service under the leadership of the Prime Minister. He said new schemes are reaching people across the country and efforts are being made to connect citizens with the world and help them move forward. He added that the goal of Developed India 2047 will be achieved. Scindia said some people are feeling scared because the time of the people’s court has come, but such tactics will not succeed. The Union Minister also spoke about India’s development in transport. He said Vande Bharat trains are already running and a bullet train from Mumbai to Ahmedabad will start in the next two years. He said the bullet train will pass through sea and underground tunnels and will run at a speed faster than an airplane. Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia was on a visit to Guna on Thursday. He inaugurated the stoppage of Bhopal-Gwalior Intercity in Myana and Bhopal-Jodhpur Express in Pagara. He flagged off both trains. State Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar, BJP District President Dharmendra Sikarwar, District Panchayat President Arvind Dhakad, former Minister Mahendra Singh Sisodia, and other guests were present at the event. The Union Minister also addressed a public meeting at Myana Railway Station. He said, many people were telling me that it is very cold. So I said that when it gets cold in the Gwalior-Chambal division, it gets so cold that it’s even colder than Jammu and Kashmir. When it gets hot, it’s a 50-degree heat. Scindia said that today my heart is filled with enthusiasm. The year 2026 has begun. In Myana, the stoppage of Gwalior Bhopal Intercity was inaugurated. Here in Pagara, the stoppage of Bhopal Jodhpur Express is being inaugurated. Whatever railway facilities are available in Guna, they have to be continuously increased. You keep giving your blessings, I will keep bringing gifts of development and progress.
