Virat Kohli has started his training ahead of the ODI series against New Zealand. The India vs New Zealand ODI series starts on 11 January with the first match slated to be played at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara. Kohli was last seen in action in the three-match ODI against South Africa in November-December 2025. An active international cricketer only in ODIs, had won the Player of the Series award for scoring 302 runs in three matches, which included two centuries and one half-century. Virat Kohli posts his training pictures on Instagram Kohli shared pictures of his training session on Instagram. In one of those pictures, he was seen batting in the nets with laser-focus. His post also featured a picture with KL Rahul. The Indian cricketer’s Instagram feed has featured promotional posts mostly, but of late, he has once again begun sharing updates about himself. Virat Kohli’s good form in List-A cricket Kohli has shown very good form in List-A cricket in his past appearances. After falling for two consecutive ducks in Australia, the right-hander has had a string of six consecutive 50+ scores. The 37-year-old played two matches for Delhi in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, where he had scores of 131 and 77. He has also risen to the no 2 position in ICC ODI rankings.
