The opening match will see defending champions Mumbai Indians take on Royal Challengers Bangalore at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. The match will start at 7:30 PM, with the toss scheduled for 7:00 PM. As per tradition, the tournament opener will be played at the home ground of the defending champions.
