The players of the Indian cricket team arrived today, January 7, for the first International One-Day match between India and New Zealand, scheduled to be held on Sunday, January 11, at Vadodara’s Kotambi International Cricket Stadium. A huge rush was observed at the airport to catch a glimpse of Indian cricket star Virat Kohli. As per the scheduled time, Indian cricketers are arriving at Vadodara Airport at different times. According to the schedule, Nitish Reddy, Kuldeep Yadav, and star player Virat Kohli have already arrived. Other players will also arrive in the evening. A large crowd of fans was seen at the airport due to the arrival of the players. To control this crowd, a tight security arrangement of private bouncers and police was made. As soon as Kohli arrived at the airport, shouts of Kohli Kohli started. Both teams will stay in these two hotels
Different hotels have been booked for both teams in Vadodara; the Indian team will stay at the Hyatt Hotel, while the New Zealand team will stay at ITC Welcome. Match officials are also planned to stay at the ITC Welcome. India-New Zealand players will practice for 3 days in Kotambi
At Vadodara’s Kotambi International Cricket Stadium, on January 8, New Zealand will practice from 1:30 PM, while India will practice from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM. On January 9 and 10, players from both teams will also practice for 3 hours each. Two complimentary stadium passes given to 2,000 BCA members
On the other hand, it was decided to give two complimentary passes to the stadium to 2,000 BCA members. On Tuesday, passes were distributed to more than 1200 members from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM, including Alembic Sanskruti Hall and Motibaug. Members were also given dining coupons and parking passes. All pass holders were asked to enter from Gate-1 of Kotambi Stadium. While many people are still using their contacts to arrange match passes, BCA has now stopped selling passes and appealed to stay away from fraudsters.
