‘Rajasthan is not Pakistan’, says MP CM:Promises 7% percent water supply instead of 5 percent, assures cooperation, and better future for both states

On the Rajasthan-Madhya Pradesh water dispute, MP Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that for the past 25 years there has been a debate with Rajasthan over why they should be given 5 percent of water. “They should not be given water. Some people say it should be given,” he added. Mohan Yadav said that when they came to power, he spoke with Bhajan Lal. Bhajan Lal Sharma stated that there are issues related to water and industry. “If water is provided, Rajasthan’s future will also improve,” he said. Yadav added, “We said not just 5 percent, we will even give 7 percent. Rajasthan is not Pakistan. Rajasthan is our own state.” The CM was speaking at the Rajasthan Digifest-Tie Global Summit. No one can stop flowing water CM Mohan Yadav said that Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh are shared legacies by the grace of God. “When it comes to rivers, Madhya Pradesh is a little fortunate. Madhya Pradesh is the home of rivers, with more than 250 rivers. Rajasthan, however, faces some difficulties. This is God’s play,” he said. He added, “No one can stop flowing water.” Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh share a brotherly bond Speaking to the media at Jaipur Airport, Mohan Yadav said, “The relationship between Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh is like that of brothers. Both states share civilisation and history.” He also referred to the joint work of both states on the Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal project. Special Session on AI, Technology and Governance

These sessions will include several global experts, including MIT Professor Ramesh Raskar. A leadership dialogue on the topic ‘Governance in the Age of AI’ will be held with V. Srinivas, Chief Secretary of the Government of Rajasthan. It will discuss digital governance and policy innovation. Additionally, there will be separate sessions on long-term investment, social impact, and global entrepreneurship. Amar Al Malik, MD of Dubai Internet City, will speak, followed by T. Shivashankar Rao’s session related to MSMEs. In the afternoon, there will be sessions by Chief Secretary V. Srinivas, Virender Sehwag, and Information Technology Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore. In the evening, the day’s program will conclude with sessions by Lakshyaraj Singh and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.
