A shocking incident unfolded in Sagar where an elderly man was pushed into Lakha Banjara Lake by an unidentified person from the elevated corridor built over the lake. The man spent entire night standing in the water in extreme cold, holding on to a pillar of the corridor to survive. The victim, Harprasad Raikwar (62), a resident of the Sadar area, stated that around 11:30 pm on Tuesday night he was standing on the elevated corridor near the bus stand, watching the lake. Unknown person pushes victim Notably, an unknown person pushed him from behind, causing him to fall directly into the water. He shouted for help, but as it was late at night, no one heard his cries. Unable to climb out, Raikwar remained in the lake throughout the night, standing in the cold water and supporting himself by gripping a pillar of the corridor.
