The path for Madhya Pradesh’s first redevelopment project, RS Shukla Market, has been cleared. The project, located at Sector 5 in Bhopal, received administrative approval from the Housing Board’s board of directors. It has also been approved by the Town and Country Planning (TNCP) authority. The Housing Board plans to issue tenders for the project in the new year 2026, marking a significant step forward in the city’s urban development initiatives. Electronic Manufacturing Cluster (EMC-2.0) first phase tender finalized The Electronic Manufacturing Cluster 2.0 (EMC-2.0), being developed over 210 acres at Bandi Khedi village in Bairasiya Tehsil, Bhopal, has finalised its first phase tender of Rs 121 crore. The total project cost is estimated at Rs 371 crore. The project will bring all facilities related to electronics system design and manufacturing under one roof, effectively creating a covered campus business park. Commercial plots ranging from 1 acre to 5 acres will be allocated to IT and manufacturing companies. The campus will include state-of-the-art facilities such as STP (Sewage Treatment Plant), ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant), and cafeterias, along with an administrative building for MPSEDC. The project is being developed under Digital India and Make in India initiatives, with the funding split between the central government (Rs 146.63 crore) and the state government (Rs 225.32 crore).
