In Mandsaur’s Mau Khedi village, a violent clash erupted between two groups over an old Sarpanch election rivalry, leaving one man dead and his son seriously injured. Police say that on Thursday night, 20-year-old Ajay Rai Singh, who was delivering milk, was stopped by four villagers and threatened. Two of the attackers allegedly carried 12-bore guns. When Ajay’s father, Bhanendra Singh (40), went to the accused’s field to intervene, the dispute escalated into a violent attack involving knives and sticks.
