This year, approximately 92,000 candidates from across the country registered for CLAT 2026. Out of these, 75,009 candidates appeared for the Undergraduate (UG) Law Programs, while 17,335 candidates took the exam for Post Graduate (PG) courses. CLAT provides admission to prestigious National Law Universities as well as many other law colleges in the country, which is why this exam is considered one of the most competitive entrance examinations in the country. After the declaration of results, the Consortium of NLUs will now begin the CLAT 2026 counselling process. Qualified candidates will have to register for counselling on the official website. Through counselling, candidates will be admitted to UG and PG courses in participating NLUs and other affiliated colleges across the country, based on their rank, preference, and seat availability. To view and download the CLAT 2026 scorecard, candidates will have to follow some easy steps. First, they need to visit the official website of the Consortium of NLUs, consortiumofnlus.ac.in. After this, click on the CLAT 2026 Candidate Login link. Log in here by entering your registered mobile number or application ID and password. After logging in, the scorecard will be visible on the dashboard, which can be downloaded and saved for future reference. Final Result Released After Answer Key
The CLAT 2026 examination was conducted on December 7. The Consortium released the provisional answer key and question booklet on December 10. Candidates were given the opportunity to raise objections to the answer key until December 12.
