A young man fell into a gorge after slipping at Jam Gate, a famous tourist destination located on the Mandleshwar-Mhow road. The young man was feeding biscuits to monkeys. The incident occurred around 7 AM on Tuesday. Sujal Kannauj (26), a resident of Kukshi, has been missing since then. Sujal had come to Jam Gate in a Thar (MP 17 CD 0511) along with his three friends, Vijay Mujalda (25), Mansaram Solanki (27), and Lokesh. SHO Deepak Yadav said that a police team has been sent after receiving information and is reaching the spot shortly. The gorge was so deep that the young man disappeared from sight in an instant
Local resident Jitendra Baria Patel said, They were four friends. One of the young men was standing right at the edge of the gorge, feeding biscuits to monkeys. Perhaps he was also taking a selfie. Suddenly, his foot slipped and he fell into the gorge below. The gorge is so deep that the man disappeared in an instant. Quickly informed police Jitendra Patel immediately informed the Mandleshwar police. Jam Gate falls under the Maheshwar assembly constituency, while the Mhow assembly constituency begins just a few meters from it, due to which tourists keep visiting here. After this incident, local residents have demanded that the administration install strong iron fencing (nets) towards this dangerous gorge to save the lives of tourists.
