A school bus carrying students and staff of Higher Secondary School Bahadurpur, to a picnic in Sanchi fell from a narrow bridge over the Sagar River near Johad village on Sunday morning, injuring 25 children. According to information, the driver moved the bus to the side to give way to an oncoming vehicle, lost control, and the bus plunged into the river. After the accident, the children began screaming for help. On receiving information, administrative officials and police from Nateran police station rushed to the spot and immediately began rescuing the children from the bus. No water in Sagad River Some of the injured children have been admitted to Government Hospital Ganjbasoda. Some seriously injured children have been referred to District Hospital Vidisha. So far, no casualties have been reported. The relief was that there was no water in the river where the bus fell.
