At noon today, members of the Sakal Brahmin Samaj Sanyukt Morcha and general category employees held a protest at Gate No. 6 of the Ministry. They demanded strict action against IAS Santosh Kumar Verma. Protesters blew conches and jhalars, recited the Hanuman Chalisa, and called on the administration to act. Organizers said the agitation would continue until documents for action against Verma were made available. The protest comes ahead of plans to gherao the Chief Minister’s house on December 14, showing rising tension and public anger over the issue. Sudhir Nayak, president of the Ministry Officers and Employees Association, stated that even after 18 days, no action has been taken against IAS officer Santosh Verma, despite his indecent and vulgar comments against daughters and the exposure of several types of fraud. Until now, people from the Brahmin community and the general category were protesting at different levels. This is the first phase of the joint movement by the United Struggle Front. The United Front has been formed, and the movement will continue until justice is served. Gherao of CM House on Dec 14 Information about the protest to be held in front of the ministry had been given to the police and Vallabh Bhawan administration. Demanding action against IAS Santosh Verma, the CM House is going to be gheraoed on December 14. For this, people from Sakal Brahmin Samaj and Sarva Samaj have been called from all districts of the state, and action will be demanded against the officer who made indecent remarks against daughters.
