The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board launched the fifth edition of the Sky Diving Festival in Ujjain on Friday to promote adventure tourism. Starting at Datana Airstrip, the festival will continue until February 15, offering tourists a chance to view the city of Mahakal from a height of 10,000 feet. At Datana Airstrip, Abhay Arvind Bedekar, Additional Managing Director of MP Tourism Board, and Dr. Santosh Kumar Srivastava, Joint Director (Adventure), inaugurated the festival. Around 100 adventure enthusiasts from Ujjain and other cities registered for sky diving on the first day. Bedekar informed, This is the fifth edition of sky diving. In this, people will be able to have a thrilling experience from a height of 10,000 feet. She stated that despite it being her first time, she wasn’t scared, and the trainers’ support was excellent. Rishi Gadia from Mahidpur also described seeing the city from a height of 10,000 feet as an ‘unforgettable moment’. He believes that everyone should experience this at least once in their lifetime.
