After the stampede at the stadium on June 4, a committee was formed under the leadership of Justice John Michael D’Cunha to investigate the incident. The Public Works Department (PWD) has sent a notice to the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) for this. KSCA will have to submit a structural safety report from NABL-certified experts. Matches will only happen after the expert declares it safe
