Night safaris will stop in all tiger reserves of Madhya Pradesh from 1 December 2025. The decision follows a Supreme Court order, and tourists who booked in advance will receive full refunds. Only day safaris will now be allowed across the state. Supreme Court order The Supreme Court issued the ban on 17 November. It directed that all night safaris must end to protect wildlife and reduce disturbance to animals. Order issued to all reserves Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) Shubhranjan Sen has sent instructions to the Field Directors of every tiger reserve.They have been told to stop night safaris immediately in all locations across the state. Effect on Satpura Tiger Reserve Satpura Tiger Reserve’s Field Director Rakhi Nanda confirmed the ban.She said that night safaris running in buffer zones will stop completely from 1 December 2025.Visitors who booked these safaris will get refunds as per the rules.
