Teen couple jumps before moving train in Jhabua, both die:Instagram post hints at love affair; police investigate circumstances

A tragic incident occurred on Friday afternoon at Bamnia railway station in Jhabua district. A schoolboy and schoolgirl jumped in front of a moving train and died on the spot. The incident is being investigated as a possible suicide linked to a love affair. Students identified Both students were from Rampuriya. The girl was a student in Petlawad. They were both wearing school uniforms at the time of the incident. Instagram post before death Before the suicide, the boy, Shravan, posted a picture of the two on his Instagram account. Police are examining this to understand their state of mind and possible reasons for the act. Police investigation The Railway Police (GRP) arrived at the scene after receiving information about the incident. They took possession of the bodies and began an investigation. Police said the two students had been walking around the station for some time before jumping onto the tracks. Bodies sent for post-mortem The bodies were sent to Petlawad Civil Hospital for post-mortem examination. Police are trying to determine the exact circumstances and reasons that led the pair to commit suicide.
