An eighth class student at Bodhi International School in Ratlam jumped from the third floor on Friday morning around 10 AM. The student has been identified as Rishan, son of Pritam Katara, who lives in Asaram Bapu Nagar. School staff had found a mobile phone with him, after which the management called his parents to the school. During counselling in the principal’s room, Rishan suddenly ran out, went to the third floor, and jumped. He was seriously injured and taken to the hospital immediately. The school administration and police are now investigating the incident. Fractures in both legs, injuries to head and face In the accident, the student sustained fractures in both legs, while also suffering injuries to his head and face. The injured student’s mother, Manju Katara, is a Patwari. Rishan’s elder brother is Pratyush Katara (17). After the incident, the student was first taken to a nearby private hospital. After primary treatment there, he was shifted to another private hospital located on 80 Feet Road. Here, his MRI and other medical tests are being conducted. As soon as information about the incident was received, Industrial Area Police Station police and a doctor known to the student’s father reached the hospital.
