Following India’s World Cup win, multiple champions drew intense bidding wars at the mega-auction. Renuka Singh was signed by Gujarat Giants, Shree Charani went to Delhi Capitals, while Harleen Deol and Kranti Goud were snapped up by UP Warriorz. Their strong performances on the world stage helped them secure lucrative deals for the upcoming season. Deepti Sharma – ₹3.20 Crore (UP Warriorz) Team India vice-captain Deepti Sharma is once again set to play for the UP Warriorz, as they used RTM while bidding. He was also the Player of the Tournament in ODI World Cup 2025. 2. Renuka Singh – ₹60 Lakh (Gujarat Giants) Gujarat Giants bid for India pacer Renuka Singh Thakur for ₹60 Lakh. Earlier played for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru last season in 2024. 3. N Shree Charani – ₹1.30 Crore (Delhi Capitals) India star Shree Charani, once again, will feature for the Delhi Capitals franchise. DC bought Charani for ₹1.30 Crore as she became the second-highest Indian to be sold this season in 2026. 4. Sneh Rana – ₹50 Lakh (Delhi Capitals) India spinner Sneh Rana, however, could only get ₹50 Lakh despite being a World Champion this season. DC bought Rana within the base price. Earlier in 2025, she featured for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. 5. Radha Yadav – ₹65 Lakh (Royal Challengers Bengaluru) Royal Challengers Bengaluru bought India spinner Radha Yadav for ₹65 Lakh. Pratika Rawal – No bid citing injury concerns, but flies high in late accelerator The WPL has notified franchises that batter Pratika Rawal has been sidelined due to injury and will not feature in the main auction. However, in the main accelerated set bidding, no franchise picked her up as she opened with a base price of ₹50 lakh. 10. No buyer for Uma Chhetri Wicketkeeper-batter Uma Chetri found no buyers in the WPL auction. Her base price was 50 lakh rupees, but no team showed interest in buying her. In the World Cup, she could play only one match, but didn’t get to bat. She has scored 37 runs in 7 T-20s for India. She has 80 runs to her name playing for UP in WPL. 11. Smriti Mandhana retained for ₹3.50 Cr India’s vice-captain and top run-scorer in ICC tournaments, Smriti Mandhana, did not enter the auction. She was retained by Royal Challengers Bangalore for 3.50 crore rupees. She was bought for 3.40 crore rupees in the first auction. Still, no player has received a higher bid than her.
