After the match concluded, Siraj was scheduled to fly from Guwahati to Hyderabad on an Air India Express flight at 7:25 PM on Wednesday. However, the flight kept getting delayed for several hours without any clear reason. Siraj and other passengers repeatedly tried to get information, but no concrete update was provided by the airline. Siraj described it as extremely disappointing, stating that despite the flight being 4 hours late, no proper information was given, leaving passengers stranded. He called it his ‘worst experience’ ever and said that if the airline continues to provide such service, he would not recommend it to anyone. After Siraj’s social media post went viral, Air India Express clarified, stating that the flight had to be canceled due to other operational reasons.
