A Lokayukta team raided the properties of Govardhan Lal Maru, a manager at the Aadim Jati Seva Sahakari Sanstha in Labariya village, Dhar. The 12-hour operation uncovered assets worth more than Rs 4.69 crore, far beyond his legitimate income of about Rs 1.20 crore. The investigation is still ongoing. Raid lasts 12 hours The raid began at 5:30 AM on Wednesday.It continued for about 12 hours and ended at 5:30 PM.Officials examined his movable and immovable assets. Search at 3 locations A team of 65 officers in 18 vehicles reached Labariya early in the morning.Raids took place at three spots: A single-storey house and a large cattle shed were also found inside the farmhouse area. Legitimate income much lower Investigators found that Maru owns several immovable properties, including more than 30 bighas of agricultural land.
