Cobra undergoes emeregency surgery in Ujjain, gets 80 stitches:Team of 4 doctors operates for 2 hours after serpent gets injured from bulldozer claw

A cobra in Ujjain survived a serious injury after a team of veterinary doctors performed a two-hour surgery and gave it 80 stitches. The snake was badly hurt when it was struck by a JCB machine at a construction site. It is now under observation and will be released into the forest after recovery. Cobra injured during construction work On Tuesday night, a JCB machine hit the cobra during construction at Vikram Nagar Industrial Park.The snake suffered a deep injury and was bleeding heavily. Severe wound behind the head Veterinary surgeon Dr Mukesh Jain examined the cobra.He found a serious injury behind its head, and much of the skin had peeled off.Because of this, the cobra’s condition was critical. 2-hour surgery, 80 stitches given Dr Jain called field officers Ramkanya Gaurav, Ravi Rathore and Prashant Parihar to assist.The team cleaned the wound and prepared medicines from outside as major surgery was needed.The cobra was given mild anaesthesia.The operation lasted around two hours, and doctors gave the snake 80 stitches. Snake under care, will be released soon The cobra has been handed over to a snake rescuer for monitoring.It will remain under care for two days.After treatment is complete, it will be released into the forest.
