‘Some ministers plotting against MP CM,’ says Jitu Patwari:PCC chief alleges Shivraj Singh Chouhan leads faction; grievances raised in RSS

Congress state president Jitu Patwari has alleged that a group of ministers in Madhya Pradesh is working to destabilise Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. He claimed that internal conflicts in the cabinet are harming the governance of the state. Patwari said that the group is led by Shivraj Singh Chouhan and that they regularly complain in Delhi and speak against the CM within the BJP. Ministers question Finance Minister in cabinet meeting The allegations follow an incident in a recent cabinet meeting. Urban Development Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya and Panchayat Minister Prahlad Patel questioned Finance Minister Jagdish Deora about a reduction in GST in Madhya Pradesh. Vijayvargiya interrupted Deora, asking why GST had decreased in the state while it was rising nationally. Prahlad Patel insisted that the Urban Development Minister be allowed to speak. The discussion continued for 5–7 minutes. Opposition stresses state welfare Patwari said that as the opposition, his duty is not to rejoice over ministers’ disputes. “Our responsibility is to ensure that Madhya Pradesh develops, the government works efficiently, and we cooperate wherever possible,” he added. Lack of control over ministers officials The Congress leader also claimed that the Chief Minister has no control over ministers, administrative staff, or law and order. According to him, mutual differences among ministers are affecting the state’s future. He accused the Finance Minister of taking daily loans and allegedly taking 50 percent commission. “Taking loans of Rs 200 crore daily and misusing Rs 100 crore is harming Madhya Pradesh,” Patwari said. CM angry over questions Patwari said that when he raises questions about the government’s political spending, the Chief Minister becomes angry. He criticised the government for setting up large marquees, organising events for women and the public at government expense, and borrowing money even for microphones used in speeches. Patwari warned that such spending could put the state into serious financial challenges. Alleged complaints against CM Patwari alleged that Shivraj Singh Chouhan complains about the Chief Minister in Delhi. He suggested that senior ministers are working behind the scenes to undermine CM Dr. Mohan Yadav. Ministers avoiding media questions When asked about the cabinet incident, Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Jagdish Devda walked away without answering questions about the GST discussion. Minister Prahlad Patel was also present but did not comment.
