Indian cricket team coach Gautam Gambhir has taken responsibility for the loss against South Africa in the home series. During the post-match presentation on Wednesday, India’s head coach said that the first and foremost responsibility falls on him. Gambhir said, “You don’t blame any individual or any particular shot. The blame lies with everyone and starts with me. I never blamed individuals and won’t do it going forward.” When Gambhir was asked about his future coaching, he said- It is up to the BCCI to decide my future. But I am the same guy who got you results in England and was coach for Champions Trophy. India suffered a 408-run defeat against South Africa in the Guwahati Test on Wednesday, the biggest Test loss for Men in Blue. In terms of runs, this is India’s biggest defeat to date.
