Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav arrived in Kolar, Bhopal, to perform groundbreaking and inaugurations worth Rs 194 crore. During the event, he sharply criticised Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and former Madhya Pradesh CM Digvijaya Singh. Criticism of Congress and leaders CM Yadav said, “They (Rahul Gandhi) ask the army for evidence, and Digvijaya Singh cries for Naxalites. Our army eliminates Naxalites, yet they shed tears for them. I don’t know when Congress will reform.” He further stated that Congress continues to follow the same outdated policies and that India’s past mistakes, including Article 370, were ignored by the party. He praised Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, highlighting his foresight and contributions. Infrastructure projects in Kolar and Bairagarh The CM performed groundbreaking for a sewage system worth Rs 155 crore in Kolar and Bairagarh. Additionally, he inaugurated the Sandeepani School in Katara-Barrai at Rs 29 crore and the Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium in Banjari at Rs 10 crore. Ministers Vishwas Sarang, Rao Uday Pratap Singh, Krishna Gaur, and other local leaders were present. CM Yadav stressed the new stadium in Kolar as a reminder of Congress’s failures, calling it symbolic of “the burning of Congress’s Ravana.” He announced further development projects, including a Ram Leela ground on 16 acres in Kolar and a Deendayal Upadhyay Stadium in Katara. Sports and community development The newly inaugurated stadiums will support volleyball, cricket, football, badminton, table tennis, boxing, and traditional sports like Mallakhamb. CM Yadav assured better facilities and opportunities for youth in sports, while also focusing on employment and governance reforms. AMRUT 2.0 sewage system The Rs 155 crore sewage system under AMRUT 2.0 will be completed by November 2028. It will cover six wards in Kolar and three in Bairagarh, benefiting over 1.5 lakh people. Infrastructure includes pumping stations, STPs, and 20,000 household sewage connections. Security and political measures Ahead of the CM’s visit, several Congress leaders were placed under preventive custody, following concerns over protests. Police action was reportedly taken after Congress leader Rajkumar Singh released a video the day prior highlighting grievances. Impact These projects are expected to modernize infrastructure, improve sanitation, and promote sports across Bhopal’s Kolar and Bairagarh areas, while CM Yadav’s sharp political remarks underline ongoing party rivalries.
