A man was brutally assaulted in public by three men who continued beating him with sticks until he lost consciousness in Bhopal. The victim lay on the road, crying for help, while people watched from a distance in fear. On Sunday afternoon, he had a dispute with Ajay, Lakhan and their associates from the Number Five area. Local people intervened at the time and resolved the matter. However, driven by revenge, the same group stopped Rinku later that night near the Durga petrol pump at Char Imli. They pushed him to the ground and began beating him mercilessly with sticks and wooden rods.
