A JEE aspirant from Bhopal died after falling from the 9th floor of a multi-story building in Kota on Friday around 3:30 PM. He had been living in a rented flat in Kota with his mother for two years. Police are investigating whether the fall was accidental or a suicide. DSP Yogesh Sharma said, Ishan Paliwal (18) had been living in Kota with his mother for two years. He sustained a head injury after falling from the ninth floor of the Royal Imperia multi-story building. He was taken to a private hospital in critical condition, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment. The body has been kept in the MBS Hospital mortuary. The student’s father is an engineer in Bhopal. He has been informed about the incident. The mother is not in a condition to speak. She has been unconscious since the incident. The post-mortem will be conducted on Saturday after the father arrives. Police scanning CCTV footage The police reached the incident site and inspected the outer angles, balconies, and other possible locations of the multi-story building. The police also checked the nearby CCTV footage and the situation inside the flat. The FSL team also collected evidence from the spot.
