The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) is considering redesigning the Aadhaar card. In the future, the Aadhaar card may only contain the holder’s photo and a QR code. UIDAI CEO Bhuvnesh Kumar stated in an online conference that new rules are being formulated to prevent misuse of Aadhaar copies.
