Parag to lead RR in first 3 matches as Samson recovers from injury

Riyan Parag will lead Rajasthan Royals for the first three IPL matches while Sanju Samson recovers from finger surgery. Samson, cleared to bat but not to keep wickets, will thus be available only as an ‘Impact Player’ option. Parag, at 23, joins the youngest IPL captains, starting with the game against Sunrisers Hyderabad, followed by the chance to lead the team against KKR and CSK.
