A laborer from Bihar was murdered in Guna on Sunday night by his two maternal uncles, who first assaulted him and then held his face submerged in mud until he died. The accused fled after the murder but has been arrested. Initial investigation reveals the dispute arose over Bihar election results and escalated due to comments on RJD leader Tejashwi. Both are residents of Shivhar district, Bihar, and had come to Guna two–three days ago to work as laborers on new police line quarters. On Sunday night, after cooking together and drinking, a dispute broke out while they were intoxicated. According to police sources, among the three, Rajesh and Toofani are both supporters of JDU. Whereas, Shankar was an RJD supporter. An argument had broken out between them regarding the recently announced Bihar election results. Rajesh and Toofani said something about Tejashwi. Due to this, Shankar became enraged and uttered abuses. The argument escalated further, leading to a physical altercation.
