On Monday, the wheels of a moving bus suddenly came off on Hoshangabad Road in Bhopal. Several passengers were present in the bus at the time of the incident. Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident. The accident occurred around 4:30 AM near Bawadiakala Bridge. After the wheels came off, the bus remained stranded in the middle of the road. A crane had to be called to remove it. The bus was still at the spot until 11 AM, causing inconvenience to motorists on one lane of Hoshangabad Road. See, two pictures from the spot… Many passengers were seated
This Verma Travels bus was going from Balaghat to Indore. After covering a distance of about 450 kilometers, the bus was reaching Bhopal’s ISBT in the morning. After this, it had to go another 200 kilometers to Indore, but before that, the rear wheels came off on Hoshangabad Road in the urban area. It is said that the bus’s speed was not high and there was negligible traffic. Therefore, a major accident was averted, as both wheels came off and hit the service road divider. According to the information, the rear wheels of the bus came off. This caused the bus to stop there, but if the front wheels had come off, a major accident could have occurred.
Ravi, the bus helper, said that the wheels came off while going from Balaghat to Indore. No one was injured. Meanwhile, an attempt was made to contact Verma Travels in Bhopal, but the call was not received.
