A couple was found murdered in Katni district, their blood-soaked bodies discovered inside a small hut on a farm where they had been staying overnight for crop protection. Police have registered a case of murder against unidentified assailants and begun an investigation. Lallu Ram Kushwaha (40) and his wife, Prabha Kushwaha (35), residents of Bijouri village, were tasked with guarding Sant Kumar Srivastava’s farm. On Saturday morning, villagers passing by the field noticed the couple lying motionless inside the hut. Seeing blood around the bodies, they immediately informed the police.
