Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav’s younger son, Dr. Abhimanyu Yadav, will marry Dr. Ishita from Khargone in a mass marriage ceremony to be held in Ujjain. The wedding rituals, spread over five days, will take place across two venues—Ujjain’s CM House (VIP Residence) and Atharva Hotel, both of which have been booked for the events. Five days of rituals in Ujjain Several pre-wedding functions will be conducted at the CM House and Atharva Hotel. The wedding ceremony—the pheras—will take place on 30 November at a ground near Atharva Hotel during the mass marriage conference. The reception will also be held at Atharva Hotel. Limited invitations Only select guests are invited to the ceremony. The list is expected to include close relatives of both families, state ministers, senior bureaucrats, and key BJP office-bearers. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is likely to arrive in Ujjain on 26 November to oversee arrangements. A first for Madhya Pradesh This will be the first instance where a Chief Minister’s son completes his marriage rituals within a mass marriage event. Along with Dr. Abhimanyu and Dr. Ishita, 20 other couples will also be married at the ceremony. A unique family bond About five months ago, Dr. Abhimanyu got engaged to Khargone farmer Dinesh Patel’s daughter, Dr. Ishita. Abhimanyu is pursuing a Master’s in Surgery (MS) at LNCT Medical College, Bhopal, and is in his second year. Ishita, an MBBS graduate, is currently pursuing her post-graduation. There is an interesting family connection CM Dr. Mohan Yadav’s daughter, Dr. Akanksha Yadav, is married into the family of Dinesh Patel. Now, Patel’s daughter, Ishita, is set to join the CM’s family as a daughter-in-law—making the two families mutually related through their daughters. Former MP Congress chief Arun Yadav is the son of Dinesh Patel’s maternal uncle. Meaning, former Madhya Pradesh Deputy CM, the late Subhash Yadav, was Dinesh Patel’s uncle. CM shared engagement photos earlier Dr. Mohan Yadav and his wife Seema Yadav have two sons and a daughter. The elder son and daughter are already married.
