Team India’s star all-rounder Hardik Pandya will make a comeback for Baroda in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy at the end of this month. Currently, he is training at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru and is almost fully fit. Although he has not yet received a fitness certificate from the BCCI, it is expected that he will get clearance to play before November 26. This T20 tournament will start on November 26. Baroda’s team will play its first match against Bengal in Hyderabad on November 28. As soon as he receives fitness clearance (RTP), Hardik will leave directly for Hyderabad. Thigh injury sustained in Asia Cup Hardik was injured during the Super-Four match against Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup. He sustained an injury to his left thigh, due to which he could not play the final against Pakistan. He scored 2 runs off 3 balls and took 1 wicket in that match, but had to leave the field mid-match. Subsequently, he was also ruled out of the ODI and T20 series for the Australia tour. According to a BCCI official, Hardik joined the Centre of Excellence in October and has been continuously undergoing recovery and gym sessions since then. Return from South Africa series almost certain India’s three-match ODI series will begin against South Africa on November 30. The selectors have not yet announced the team, but it is believed that Hardik will make a comeback to Team India in this series.
