A horrific road accident was caught on CCTV around 2 AM on Friday night in front of Life Care Hospital in the Lasudiya area of Indore. A speeding Scorpio (registration number MP09 QZ 0714) rammed into a bike carrying three youths with great force. The impact was so severe that all three were flung several meters away. Two of them died on the spot, while the third was seriously injured. According to Lasudiya police, the accident occurred near Nakshatra Square. The bike got stuck in the front of the SUV after the collision. The deceased were identified as Krishnapal Singh Tanwar and Ayush Rathore, both residents of Khandwa district, while the injured, Shreyansh Rathore, is undergoing treatment. Victims were students of Prestige College All three youths were students of Prestige College in Indore. Ayush Rathore (20), a BTech student, was originally from Mundi, where his father serves as a councilor. The second deceased, Krishnapal Singh Tanwar (20), hailed from Chhagaonmakhan in Khandwa district and was also pursuing a BTech degree. The injured youth, Shreyansh Rathore, is Ayush’s younger brother and a first-year law student at the same college. See 3 pictures after the accident… Scorpio purchased just 8 hours before accident Preliminary police investigation revealed that the Scorpio involved in the crash had been purchased merely eight hours before the accident. After performing a ritual at a temple, the vehicle’s occupants had reportedly gone out to celebrate. During the late-night drive, the SUV, moving at high speed, hit the bike carrying the three students near the divider cut. Bike hit while crossing from divider cut Eyewitnesses said the Scorpio was coming at high speed from Nakshatra intersection when the bike, emerging from a divider cut near a petrol pump, came in front of it. The SUV hit the bike head-on, throwing the riders several meters away. The motorcycle got stuck in the divider, and the victims slid forward on the road. Bodies lay on road for 30 minutes before response Witnesses alleged that the bodies of Krishnapal and Ayush lay on the road for nearly half an hour in front of the hospital before any assistance arrived. The hospital staff reportedly came out only after TI K.K. Sharma, ADCP Alok Sharma, and ACP Himani Mishra reached the scene. Police have registered a case and begun a search for the absconding driver and others involved.
