A woman alleged that after a minor argument with a security guard, her disabled child was removed from the ICU and his treatment was stopped. The mother pleaded for hours for help, but hospital staff ignored her. The child was later re-admitted after the media reached the hospital. Mother says treatment was stopped after dispute The woman said that she had a small argument with a security guard inside the hospital. Soon after, her child, who was receiving treatment in the ICU, was taken out and left unattended. She claimed that doctors and staff refused to continue the treatment despite her repeated requests. Heartbroken mother begged for help According to the mother, she begged hospital staff to save her child. “I kept pleading with folded hands, crying, and even fell at their feet, but no one listened,” she said. She sat outside the ICU for hours, holding her sick child in her lap, hoping someone would help. Hospital acted only after media arrived The situation changed only after local media reached the hospital. Under public pressure, the hospital administration allowed the child back into the ICU and restarted the treatment. Videos of the woman crying and pleading have gone viral on social media, sparking outrage. Inquiry ordered by hospital superintendent Hospital Superintendent Dr Rahul Mishra said that an inquiry has been ordered into the matter. “Action will be taken based on the investigation report,” he stated.Locals claimed that this is not the first time such complaints have been raised against the hospital. Several people have previously accused the hospital’s security staff of misbehaviour and negligence.
