Parthiv Patel says Team India must adapt to ‘Australian conditions’:Fast wickets and bounce will be ‘biggest challenge’ for Suryakumar Yadav’s side

Former Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Parthiv Patel believes that the Indian team is a more balanced side for the Australia tour. The first T20 match between the two teams will be played today in Canberra. Earlier, on Tuesday, former Indian cricketer and JioStar expert Parthiv, while answering a question from Bhaskar during media-day, said, “When any team arrives in Australia, the conditions here present a unique challenge in themselves: large boundary spaces, fast wickets, and bounce. But all this is not new for India now. In the last 2-3 years, Team India has dominated worldwide in every format, be it T20 or Test.” He further added, “We currently have a very balanced team. The biggest challenge for India will simply be to adapt to the Australian conditions. Otherwise, the team’s confidence and preparation are both excellent.” The team has been training in Canberra for the past four-five days
