Sagar woman attacks Janpad Panchayat member’s vehicle with rock:Smashes windows and bonnet; claims land records were altered

A woman vandalised the car of Janpad Panchayat member Raghavendra Singh, which was parked in the Janpad Panchayat office complex in Sagar, with a stone. The woman hit the car with a stone, damaging its windows and bonnet. This incident happened on Monday, and its video has also surfaced. During the woman’s act of vandalism, a crowd of people also gathered at the spot. Later, the woman was somehow pacified through persuasion. The woman identified herself as Chhoti Bai. She alleged that Janpad member Raghavendra Singh had removed their names from their land. Complained to officials, no action taken
The woman says that she has complained to everyone from the Collector to the SP and the police station. But no hearing is taking place. If I go to cultivate the land, those people stand ready to beat me. I am troubled. After the incident, the damaged car is parked near the Janpad office premises. The car owner did not arrive at the scene.
