A terrible accident occurred in Ashoknagar district on Saturday night. A passenger bus going to Indore suddenly caught fire, and within moments, the bus was completely burnt to ashes. The incident is reported to have taken place near Bamnawar village on Isagarh Road around 8 PM. The bus belonged to Balaji Travels and was carrying passengers going to Indore. As soon as the fire broke out, there was chaos in the bus, but the villagers present at the spot showed presence of mind and safely evacuated all the passengers. Currently, no casualties have been reported. Fire brigade ran out of water As soon as information about the fire was received, Isagarh and Ashoknagar police reached the spot. One fire engine tried to extinguish the fire, but even after the water ran out, the flames could not be controlled. After this, another fire brigade was called. Suspected short circuit caused fire Bus staff said, The bus was going from Pichhore to Indore via Isagarh and Ashoknagar and almost all seats were full. The staff said, The cause of the fire could be a short circuit. They informed that all passengers were evacuated in time and the bus was also inspected inside after the fire.
