Police bust illegal country-made pistol (katta) factory in Bhind, arrest 5 accused. Seized items include 12 pistols, 3 live cartridges, and weapon-making materials. Action was taken on Diwali (Tuesday). SP Dr. Asit Yadav and ASP Sanjeev Pathak shared details Friday. The main accused is absconding. Two artisans were brought from UP, paid Rs 50,000 per month, to make kattas. Illegal katta factory busted in Bhind Accused revealed factory running in house SP Yadav stated that Interrogation of the arrested accused revealed that they used to sell pistols for 9 thousand rupees per piece. Out of the five arrested accused, three are buyers. The mastermind of the factory and both the artisans are currently absconding, and a reward has been announced for their arrest. Meanwhile, ASP Sanjeev Pathak said that continuous monitoring is being kept on illegal arms manufacturing and smuggling activities in the district.
