Police begin investigation After the video surfaced, Manpur police station in-charge, Pappu Yadav, sent a team to the village. Both parties involved were questioned. However, no one has filed a written complaint yet, so an FIR has not been registered. Legal expert calls it a serious crime Advocate Akash Tiwari stated that publicly assaulting a person, humiliating them, and sharing a video of their head being shaved is a serious offence. He added that such acts are punishable not only under sections related to assault but also under laws protecting social reputation.
