Ahead of the India vs England Women’s One-Day World Cup match scheduled on October 19, 2025, at Holkar Stadium, the Indore Traffic Police has announced a detailed traffic diversion and parking plan to ensure smooth movement and public safety. The restrictions will be in effect from 1:00 PM until the end of the match. Entry and access to stadium Spectators arriving from Hukumchand Ghantaghar and Pancham Ki Phel will enter through the Janjeerwala Square route. Those coming from the Lantern Square side can approach the stadium on foot only. Only pass-holding vehicles will be allowed access to the stadium area Restricted routes The stretch from Lantern Square to Janjeerwala Square will remain closed to general traffic from 1 PM until the end of the match, except for pass-holding and emergency vehicles.
Approximately one hour before the match ends, one side of this route will open for limited vehicle movement. Heavy and loading vehicles will not be allowed entry on MG Road, Race Course Road, Bhandari Bridge, or Rajkumar Bridge circles during the restriction period. Traffic diversion plan From 1 PM until one hour before match conclusion, the following diversions will apply: Parking arrangements For pass holders only: For general public (first come, first serve): Public advisory The traffic police has advised citizens not to use vehicles near Holkar Stadium, as parking spaces are limited. Spectators are requested to use city buses and public transport to reach the venue. City buses will drop passengers near Ghantaghar and High Court Squares, from where they can walk to the stadium. The police have also requested citizens to cooperate with on-duty traffic personnel, follow diversions, and adhere to traffic rules for smooth and safe movement during the match. Traffic arrangements will be adjusted as required based on crowd movement and vehicle pressure.
