The Madhya Pradesh Congress is organizing a 10-day training camp for all 71 district presidents from 2nd to 11th November at Hotel Highland, Pachmarhi. The training will focus on organizational strengthening and election strategy for the party. During the camp, Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, Jairam Ramesh, Supriya Shrinate, Pawan Khera, Shashikant Senthil, and other senior leaders and experts will participate. Due to the ongoing Bihar elections, Rahul Gandhi’s arrival date is not finalized, but MP Congress has proposed that he spend two days at the camp. One-on-one discussions with Rahul Gandhi Rahul Gandhi will personally address the district presidents and engage in one-on-one discussions. Presidents can brief him about social and political conditions in their districts, challenges they face, and strategies for future elections. Restricted entry and preparations The PCC has instructed that bodyguards, drivers, and personal assistants of the district presidents will not be allowed entry. Presidents are expected to reach the training venue by 10 a.m. on 2nd November. The party has also advised participants to prepare for Pachmarhi’s cold weather, bringing warm clothes such as sweaters, thermals, caps, mufflers, and shawls. Any personal medication must be brought along with prescriptions for the 10-day stay. All luggage should be labeled with the participant’s name and mobile number, and comfortable shoes for walking and physical activities are recommended. Focus on organizational strengthening and election roadmap The training will cover organizational work at block, Mandal, sector, ward, gram panchayat, and booth levels, including selecting office bearers and volunteers. The camp will also provide a roadmap for upcoming elections, including municipal, panchayat, 2028 assembly, and 2029 Lok Sabha elections. A minute-to-minute schedule has been prepared for the camp, with activities running from 7 a.m. to 7–8 p.m., including morning walks, yoga, and meditation, along with sessions on grassroots organizational building.
