A fresh political controversy has erupted as an FIR was filed against PCC Chief Jitu Patwari, Congress Media Department Head Mukesh Nayak, and 20–25 unidentified individuals for protesting outside the residence of Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan without permission. Mukesh Nayak hits Back at Shivraj Singh Chouhan Responding to the FIR, former minister and Congress media head Mukesh Nayak lashed out at Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Nayak said, “By filing this case, Shivraj Singh has committed a grave mistake. Over the next six months, I will expose your true face layer by layer, like peeling an onion, in front of the public. This is not a threat but a response to the lowering of political standards.” Two faces of politics, Nayak claims Nayak also accused the BJP leader of hypocrisy. “When we visited Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan with Jitu Patwari, he spoke to us respectfully with a gentle, almost rabbit-like face. But as soon as we stepped outside, a case was registered against us. This shows his dual personality, which the public has already started noticing,” he said. Selective action on pilgrimage deaths He further questioned Chouhan’s selective political action, saying, “The so-called saints in Sehore create traffic jams when distributing Rudraksha for 8–10 hours. During Pradeep Mishra’s Kanwar Yatra, ten people died, but no FIR was registered. Why take advantage only of ordinary citizens while ignoring others?” Accusations of self-interest and neglect Nayak accused Shivraj Singh Chouhan of being self-serving. “We have researched your political career; no leader has benefited more from Madhya Pradesh than you. You never helped people in Vidisha or Budhni when they needed it. You only take help from the people but do not give any in return. Your face is different, and your heart is different,” he said. Confrontation over farmer grievances The former minister also raised farmer issues, recounting, Farmers are struggling despite sowing soybeans. They buy seeds worth 18,000 but sell produce for 11,000 and cannot even pay wages. We went to you with these grievances, and yet, you claim we needed permission to meet you. Have you become so mighty that suffering citizens must seek your permission to speak?
