The Ministry of External Affairs’ mobile passport service van has arrived in Mahodiya. The initiative was showcased creatively on social media. The Passport Department shared a popular dialogue from the Panchayat series with a fresh twist on its X (formerly Twitter) account. The post read, ‘Dekha raha hai na Vinod, Passport mobile van ab gaon waalo ke liye aa chuki hai. Ha Bhaiya ab gaon waalo ka passport yahin se ban jaega’ . Alongside the dialogue, a video was shared showing the passport van moving through the streets of Mahodiya (Phulera). Flagging off the van The mobile passport van was formally flagged off from the Regional Passport Office in Bhopal on Monday. Regional Passport Officer Shitanshu Chaurasia cut the ribbon and officially launched the service. He explained that the van aims to provide passport services in rural and remote areas across Madhya Pradesh, making it easier for villagers to access essential services without travelling long distances. Initiative goes viral on Social Media As soon as the van reached Mahodiya, the video quickly went viral on social media, attracting attention from netizens who appreciated the initiative. This service is expected to benefit residents of several remote villages, bringing essential government services closer to their doorstep while also generating interest online due to the connection with the beloved web series.
