Bhopal’s Koh-e-Fiza police on Monday claimed to have cracked a major burglary case after arresting members of a notorious gang involved in house theft. As per police, on September 29, 2025, complainant Kamal Shobhani, a resident of Om Nagar, Halalpura, reported that unknown burglars had broken into the house of his neighbour Anand Parashar and stolen jewellery and valuables. Based on his statement, police registered a case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and launched an investigation. Joint teams formed for probe Following the complaint, police teams from Koh-e-Fiza station and the Bhopal Crime Branch were deployed. Investigators analysed PSTN data and examined CCTV footage from around the crime scene. Several suspicious numbers were traced, leading the cops to possible suspects. During sustained interrogation and follow-up operations, the police apprehended two key accused and recovered a large quantity of stolen property.
