A DJ operator was shot in broad daylight at a busy Satna intersection on Saturday afternoon. Three youths on a motorcycle fired at him after a dispute over playing the DJ during Durga Visarjan celebrations. The victim is critically injured and has been referred to Rewa Medical College. Police have registered a case and are searching for the attackers. Attack at Lakhan Chowk The incident took place at Lakhan Chowk. Ankur Gupta, 24, from Tikariya Gola, was targeted by three youths riding a black Apache bike. They fired directly at him, and a bullet hit his chest. Ankur fell to the ground, bleeding heavily, while the attackers fled immediately. Dispute over DJ performance The shooting followed a dispute on Friday night during Durga Visarjan. Some youths from Bajraha Tola asked Ankur to play the DJ. He refused, saying he did not have administrative permission. This refusal led to tension, which escalated the next day into a violent attack. Victim referred to Rewa Medical College Police and locals rushed Ankur to the district hospital after the shooting. Due to the seriousness of his injury, doctors referred him to Rewa Medical College for further treatment. Police intensify search for attackers Kolgaon Police Station in-charge Sudeep Soni and City Kotwali Police Station in-charge Ravindra Tripathi reached the spot quickly. A case has been registered, and police have intensified the search for the three attackers from Bajraha Tola.
