My wife has been missing for a month. I searched from Jabalpur to Amarpatna, but she cannot be found. 30-year-old Ashu Bansal had a love marriage with Sandhya, who lived in the same area, 7 years ago. Sandhya’s family was not ready, but Ashu’s family accepted her. In 2022, Ashu moved to Jabalpur with his wife, Sandhya, for studies. Mansi, a cousin sister who lived in Belbagh, would often visit Ashu’s house, where he was pursuing D.Ed from a private college. Ashu and Sandhya also have a 5-year-old son. Mansi and Sandhya were sister-in-law and sisters-in-law, and they often talked a lot. They would also go out together from home. Ashu said – He was living with his wife and son in a rented house in the Sheetla Mai area of Jabalpur. On August 13 around 5 am, Sandhya left somewhere without informing anyone at home. He kept searching for her all day but couldn’t find her. Ashu also gave the police the CCTV footage of his wife, Sandhya, leaving the house. When city CCTV cameras were checked at the police control room, Sandhya was seen going towards Ranchi. Ashu was sure that if Sandhya had gone to Ranji, she would be with Mansi. He suspected that Sandhya might go to Maihar by the passenger train going from Jabalpur to Rewa the next morning. In such a situation, he reached the railway station at around six-thirty in the morning. Here he found Sandhya. Ashu asked Sandhya where she was but she did not answer. When Ashu talked about going to the police station, Sandhya said take me to Amarpatan, I don’t want to stay in Jabalpur. After this, Ashu came home with his wife and son.
